Day 1 Juneau Embarkation. Remnants of gold mines, Alaska’s state historical museum, Mt Roberts tramway, eagles, glaciers and verdant forest trails await your arrival. Birds, seals, sea lions, orca and humpback whales roam the Inside Passage.
Day 2 Glacier Bay National Park UNESCO Heritage Site and Biosphere Reserve. Sea lions, mountain goats, bears, moose, eagles, tufted puffins and spectacular scenic backdrops.
Day 3-4 Glacier Bay National Park Tidewater glaciers sweep like rivers of ice down massive mountain valleys terminating in Glacier Bay. Optional hiking, kayaking or small craft boating.
Day 5 Icy Strait Join the Captain on the bridge or the Expedition Naturalists out on deck in search of marine mammals and bears primarily in the Icy Strait and Point Adolphus areas.
Day 6 Chichagof Island Meander along the waterfall coast of Chichagof Island. Perhaps a hot tub after dinner.
Day 7 Peril Strait Chatham Strait to Salisbury Sound watching for bears, otters, whales and eagles. Festive Captain’s Farewell Dinner and a presentation of photos highlighting your cruise.
Day 8 Sitka — Disembarkation after breakfast this morning in Russian-influenced Sitka. Transfers provided to your airport or hotel.
Room Rates from $3,995 per person double occupancy. Room rates include unlimited food and non-alcoholic beverages; airport/ship transfers and baggage handling; most onboard activities and shore tours; entry fees to parks and preserves; wellness program, hot tub, sauna, fitness equipment and yoga. Port fees/taxes of $250 per person and gratuities are extra.
