Daily Itinerary Molok’i to Hawai’i (or reverse)
Day 1 Arrive in Molok’i – Embarkation
Aloha and Welcome Aboard the Safari Explorer.
Day 2 Molok’i
Shore tour amid the Aloha spirit. Leisure time in the Hawaiian cowboy town of Kaunakakai. Walk amid tropical flowers in a plumeria garden. Beach time at Papohaku. Tour Moloka’i Museum. Complete the evening at a pa’ina feast with home-style Hawaiian music.
Day 3 Lana’i
Shore tour to view island’s volcanic origins and learn about Dole plantation days at the Lana’i Culture and Heritage Center. Water activities include snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaks or skiff excursions.
Day 4: Olowalu and West Maui
A place of refuge. Snorkel among coral gardens and sea turtle habitat. Cruise the Humpback National Marine Sanctuary breeding grounds searching for dolphins, whales and marine life.
Day 5 Captain’s Choice Exploration
Captain and crew to seek out the best opportunities in the islands today. Dramatic volcanic backdrops and marine wildlife sightings. Chances for snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boarding are all possible!
Day 6 Honomalino Bay, Opihihali
Kona Coast on the Big Island of Hawaii. Several hours of water play. Cruising for marine wildlife viewing. You may wish to snorkel amid the harmless Giant Pacific Manta Rays. Go ashore this evening to Kailua Town.
Day 7 Kailua-Kona
Skiff to Kealakekua Bay where Captain Cook was slain in 1779 and enjoy some of the island’s best snorkeling. At Kailua-Kona, stroll through town at your own pace. Captain’s Farewell Dinner and photographic recap of your adventures.
Day 8 Hawaii, the Big Island – Disembark
Disembark after breakfast at Kawaihae Harbor and transfer to the Kona Airport. Aloha!
